Multicultural Homework Support Program The Gowrie WA Inc This Program is a pilot project and aims to establish and trial a model of providing homework assistance to students of culturally and linguistically diverse background who are attending schools in the Belmont area. It will also provide parents of these children with information and skills to assist with homework and become more involved in their children's schooling. 22,107.00
Asian Language Peer Tutoring STAR Peer Tutoring Program STAR will train, assign and support a team of student volunteers (both Australians and native speakers on exchange programs) who will be peer tutors and mentors to students of Asian language and culture in primary and secondary schools. The volunteers, all of whom are studying either Bahasa or Japanese and have lived/studied in these countries, will be positive youth models and will offer learning support to the school students in their LOTE classes. 10,000.00
